The strong embrace the wild that hides inside - keen instincts, primal physicality, and most of all, an unbridled, unquenchable rage.

Barbarian is a class in Baldur's Gate 3. Barbarians use their martial prowess and primal rage to strengthen themselves and dominate enemies in combat. Barbarians' key ability scores are Strength, Dexterity, and Constitution.

The Barbarian subclasses are: Berserker Berserker, Wildheart Wildheart, Wild Magic Wild Magic

Level Progression

Through experience, you acquire new power. You gain the following traits.

Level 1

Rage Rage

  • Rage Charges: 2 (The number of times you can Rage per day. Replenished by Long Rest).

While Raging, you gain the following:

Your rage lasts for 10 turns and ends early if you haven't attacked a creature or been attacked or you decide to end your Rage. You also cannot cast spells or concentrate while raging.

  • Rage Charges: 3 (Gain an additional Rage Charge. You can now Rage more times per Long Rest).

  • Extra Attack Extra Attack: You can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn.
  • Fast Movement Fast Movement: Your Movement Speed increases by 3m / 10ft while not wearing Heavy Armour.

  • Rage Charges: 4 (Gain an additional Rage Charge. You can now Rage more times per Long Rest).
