Bonecloak's Apothecary is an apothecary located in the Lower City of Baldur's Gate in Act Three. It is located North East of the Lower City Central Wall waypoint and north of Sorcerous Sundries.

If Derryth Bonecloak was killed in the Underdark and Baelen Bonecloak was not rescued, or if both Baelen and Derryth die in Act One, then Bonecloak's Apothecary will still be closed, with a simple notice left out front saying "Gone shroom hunting."

Overview

Upper levels

Derryth and Baelen home has a fairly simple layout; the ground floor consists of the store and a greenhouse with alchemical ingredients to the west, and the first floor has a small bedroom with Derryth's diary.

If Derryth was given noblestalk in the Underdark, she will have some for sale, but those can't be used to restore memories unlike the one found in the Underdark.

Basement

The basement can be accessed through a DC 10 locked hatch in the greenhouse. Inside are some alchemical ingredients, and a locked heavy chest which contains Counting House Safe n°3 Key.

On the western wall is a notice that reads "Preparing brews. Feck off", and some crates which are partially concealing a lever. Using the lever will lower the wall and provide entrance to the Bonecloak's laboratory. The lab contains more ingredients, an Elixir of Psychic Resistance, and a Potion of Speed. There are also several bibberbangs around the room, and some notes regarding Derryth and Baelen's relationship.
