Very High approval (60+)[Needs Verification]

Exceptional approval (80+)[Needs Verification]

The following story and dialogue choices will cause Minsc to gain approval.

Act Three

  • Choosing "We'll find a third way. Would you two like to kill the old man, Minsc, or shall I?" in the Murder Tribunal during Investigate the Murders grants 5 approval from Minsc.
  • Choosing "Not in this lifetime." while speaking with Rion in Jaheira's house grants 1 approval from Minsc.

Disapproval

The following story and dialogue choices will cause Minsc to lose approval.

Act Three

  • If the player attempts to get Minsc to pretend to be their servant during the Murder Tribunal in Investigate the Murders, Minsc loses 50 approval if the player chooses to sacrifice him by choosing "Fine, Sarevok. If he won't obey - take him as my offering instead."
