Being a Drow and follower of the Absolute, Minthara has a highly hostile and cruel attitude towards other beings, considering pretty much everyone as inferior. She has a special disdain for those who do not share her beliefs, and as a drow noble, she holds drow characters in high regard.
The actions and choices listed on this page will raise or lower Minthara's Approval.

Act Two

Last Light Inn
- After seeing the Strange Ox memories, tell him his secret is safe
- Refuse to drink Jaheira's truth-serum dosed wine.
- When speaking with Marcus, claim you can kidnap Isobel by your self.
- Inform Isobel that Marcus is a true soul.
- Ask Marcus for more information, and then tell Isobel that he's trying to kidnap her.
Shadowed Battlefield
- Convince Gronag the warrior to look for the bone in the shadows
- Convince the drider to give up the moon lantern. +1
- After being persuaded to give you the moon lantern, Convince a drider patrol to leave without protection from the curse. +1
House of Healing
- Persuade Malus Thorm to have the Sisters "operate" on each other or on his person.
- Persuade Malus Thorm to have the Sisters "operate" on him.
- After the Sisters have "operated" on each other, persuade Malus Thorm to "operate" on himself.
- As a Paladin, tell Malus Thorm that you are duty bound to end him.
- If Arabella and the Tieflings were saved in Act 1 you have to avoid meeting her in Act 2 and first find her parents. Meeting her afterwards you can tell her that they are dead and will never return and she will be mad at you and run away. +1
The Waning Moon
- Refuse to drink with Thisobald Thorm.
- Successfully drink with Thisobald Thorm (rather than choosing the Slight of Hand check to fake it). (Works up to 3 times)
- Tell Thisobald Thorm any tale, including a fabricated one. (Works up to 2 times)
Reithwin Tollhouse
- Select "I bring death" when talking to Gerringothe Thorm.
- Successfully defeat Gerringothe through dialogue.
Gauntlet of Shar
- After interacting with the Pedestal of Reckoning, agree to help Shadowheart with the trials. +1
- Persuade Nessa that her 'love' for Yurgir is the result of being magically dosed.
- Persuade Balthazar to give you the bell to summon Flesh
- With Mother Dearest in your inventory, ask "What happened to your mother?"
- Say "Actually, I have your mother."
- Say "No, I think I'll keep her." +1
- Encourage Shadowheart to to kill the Nightsong.
- Choose to fight Shadowheart when confronting the Nightsong.
Mind Flayer Colony
- Purge the pods in the Tadpoling Centre. +1
- Consume the mind of the githzerai Waking Mind. +1
- Tell the Fresh Mind it will never wake again. +1
Moonrise Towers
- Sever the control Linsella has over the gnolls in the kitchen. +1
- Pass a deception check on Zrell if you chose to spare the goblins at the end of Minthara's trial. +1
- Tell Ketheric Thorm that seeing your enemies cowed never gets old
- When Minthara sits on the throne after defeating Ketheric:
- Say "We make a good team". +10 or say that it suits her. +1
- Propose to take the place of Orin once she's dead. +5
- When Minthara says we could claim their Netherstones, reply "I'm with you". +5
- When Minthara says we could reshape the world, reply "I can hardly wait". +5
- When Minthara asks about the one thing that needs explaining:
- Say that you attacked the Grove to impress her. +3

- After Minthara gets up from the throne:

Camp/Conversation
- When talking to her about remembering what she did while serving the Absolute respond with “To Lose your free will and be forced to kill. That must be horrible.” +5
- When talking about the time she invaded Moonrise, say that pride can be a great weakness.
- Say that you will help on her revenge.
- Ask if she respects Ketheric. +1
- Tell her "A dangerous upbringing. It made you strong." +1
- When she reaches out to your mind as you approach:
- Say "Only if I can see your thoughts as well." +3
- Say "I'm flattered." or "You're rather special yourself." +3
- If you image her as a Lover +10
- If you image her as any of the others, except for monster, you can follow up with "I want you too." +10
- As the Dark Urge, when you confess you yearn to kill:
- Tell her "I trust you." when she asks why you confide in her. +5
- Tell her "You misunderstand. I enjoy killing, but I can control myself." when she tells you she fear your bloodlust controls you. +1

Rivington
- When Yenna approaches the party for the first time:
- As a Ranger, tell her you can try to track down her mum. +1
- Tell her to Get lost. +1
- Offer to find her a guard. +1
- If you told her something else, then give her either coin or food. +1
- Tell the Strange Ox that "It takes more than a bit of gore to turn my gullet." +1
- Orin's disguises:
- Acknowledge to Fist Rowan that both sides need to learn their lesson by killing them all. +1
- Prod the Dying Stone Lord Thug's wound. +1
- Then make him suffer. +1
- State "Without Hesitation" when asked if you could turn your weapon on a friend by Gyldro Angleiron. +1
- Promise to protect her from Orin. +5
- Telling Nestor that you will take a donation.

Circus of the Last Days

- Disagree with Minthara's plans of taking over control of the Absolute.
- When Minthara asks why you chose to kill the tieflings in the Grove:
- Tell her you did it to watch them suffer.
- Tell her you enjoy killing.
- Tell her a violent urge is the cause.
Mind Flayer Colony
- Use the Neural Apparatus to release everyone in the Tadpoling Centre.
