Phalar Aluve is a rare +1 Longsword that can be made to Shriek or Sing, granting nearby allies or enemies a bonus to Attack Rolls or damage or damage rolls, depending on the choice.
The drow inscription on this blade appears to have been recently carved. It translates to: 'Though I have to leave you, I will dance forever in Eilistraee's Light.'

The Ring of Spiteful Thunder, however, is triggered if the target had stacks of Reverberation applied - at least when worn by the character triggering the damage. (as of 4.1.1.3648072)
- Longswords do not regularly have the Finesse property; Phalar Aluve is special in this regard. The only other example is Larethian's Wrath.
- Phalar Aluve is Drow language. Phalar means 'battle-marker' or 'grave', and Aluve means 'I/we leave you'
