Ch'r'ai Tska'an is a githyanki NPC encountered in Act Two. She will always be hostile.
Interactions
Ch'r'ai Tska'an and her group of gith will ambush the party as they are approaching the Road To Baldur's Gate Waypoint. Carrying the Qua'nith Psionic Detector, whether gifted by Voss or looted off his body, allows the player to more easily spot their ambush and surprise the raiding party.
In combat, Tska'an functions as a gish and a warlock. If she is not killed in Act Two, Tska'an can be fought in the Knights of the Shield Hideout in Act Three as part of the quest Visit the Emperor's Old Hideout.
Tactics
Tska'an and her squad are formidable foes that will block the player from proceeding to Baldur's Gate and Act Three. Tska'an begins the battle standing on an archway flanked by two Githyanki Raiders who will often use Trip Attack. Below her are two Githyanki Warriors armed with Supreme Githyanki Parry.
An effective way to begin the fight is using spells like Enhance Leap, Misty Step, or Dimension Door to get the entire party onto the top of the archway with Tska'an and begin focusing attacks on the raiders. The warriors below will be forced to waste a turn or two taking the long way around or using Githyanki Psionics to follow with a jump. All members of the gith ambush carry weapons permanently imbued with Light, making them easier to spot on the player's screen.
