Coming in the main entrance from West of the House of Healing will take you into the entry hall of the morgue. A successful Perception Check will reveal a button on the left hand wall that will open a secret room that contains a chest with the [[Strange Tendril Amulet]]. On one of the Charred Corpses you can find [[Firzu's Ring of Trading]].
Coming in the main entrance from west of the House of Healing will take the party into the entry hall of the morgue. A successful Perception ([[Difficulty Class|DC]] 10) check will reveal a button on the south wall at {{Coords|82|-998}}, which opens a secret room. Inside is a chest with the {{SmRarityItem|Strange Tendril Amulet}}, and on one of the charred corpses the {{SmRarityItem|Firzu's Ring of Trading}} can be found.


Through the large double doors you will be ambushed by Zombies. Note that the entire room is cloaked in a cloud of poison.  Most of the room can be cleared by disabling 5 vents in the floor throughout the room, using a  [[Trap Disarm Toolkit]] or by dropping or throwing something on top of them.

Straight ahead is the Laboratory which has [[Karabasan's Poison]] and a chest with [[Eversight Ring]]. Passing a perception check will reveal a lever near the middle of the room which will enable the lever used to unlock the north door to the pit and Ominous Crevice.  If approaching from the Ominous Crevice instead, a button on the right statue will open the door.
This door is initially locked if entering through the main entrance. The lever immediately in front of the door will open the door, but only after the lever in the Laboratory through the center door is used.

To the right is a locked door leading to a pit (after some jumping).  This door is initially locked, if entering through the main entrance.  The lever immediately in front of the door will open the door, but only after the lever in the Laboratory through the center door is used. You will find a locked chest on one of the 'islands' that has the [[Fleshmelter Cloak]]. This pit also has a pathway to the Ominous Crevice entrance. At the bottom of the pit you find some animated armour and some oozes. You can loot the [[Protective Plate]] off the animated armour.

At the center of this section is a deep pit filled with green vapours, which can be traversed along the outer ledges. Without very high {{SAI|Jump}} skills, {{SAI|Misty Step}}, {{SAI|Fly}} or {{SAI|Feather Fall}}, this can only be safely descended by entering from the outside entrance, which is east of the [[Grand Mausoleum]]. At the bottom of the pit, there's an encounter with one [[Hollow Armour]] and three [[Fetid Ooze]]. The Hollow Armour drops a {{SmRarityItem|Protective Plate}}. There also is the {{SmRarityItem|Fleshmelter Cloak}} in a locked gilded chest on one of the 'islands' above the pit, between the Grand Mausoleum side and the passage to the rest of the morgue.

The House of Healing Morgue is a Location within Reithwin Town in Act Two of Baldur's Gate 3.

Access[edit | edit source]

There are two entrances to this location:

  1. West of the House of Healing
  2. East of the Grand Mausoleum waypoint through the Ominous Crevice at X: -150 Y: 105

Morgue[edit | edit source]

Coming in the main entrance from west of the House of Healing will take the party into the entry hall of the morgue. A successful Perception (DC 10) check will reveal a button on the south wall at X: 82 Y: -998, which opens a secret room. Inside is a chest with the Strange Tendril Amulet, and on one of the charred corpses the Firzu's Ring of Trading can be found.

At the center of this section is a deep pit filled with green vapours, which can be traversed along the outer ledges.   • If freeing the Pixie from the Moonlantern, there might be a bug where her blessing doesn't work in the Morgue. If using Pixie's bell in the inventory, her blessing will be restored. It is also possible to steal the other Moonlantern from Moonrise Towers and then return to the Morgue without issues.
