Lord Shattershield's Bodyguard is a halfling wizard who accompanies his master to the ceremony of ordaining Enver Gortash as an Archduke of Baldur's Gate in Act Three.
Involvement[edit | edit source]
Lord Shattershield's Bodyguard can be found at the mess hall, at the first floor of the Wyrm's Rock Fortress. He came with his master, Lord Rugger Shattershield, and while waiting for his lord to descend from Audience Hall, spends time with retinue members of other patriars.
If spoken to, he says that a bodyguard's job is a good work if one can find such one. He tells the party that he would call Gortash whatever the latter wants, as long as Lord Shattershield pays him. He also tells the party not to mess with him, because he might be small, but is able to fight back.
If confronting Gortash, Lord Shattershield's Bodyguard can be found along with all other invited guests and their retinue slaughtered in the Audience hall.
