Findal is a Lightfoot Halfling found in the Underground Passage in Act One.

Involvement[edit | edit source]

Act One[edit | edit source]

Findal is unconscious in the Underground Passage surrounded by Gresh Gresh, Gurza Gurza, Torrack Torrack, and Worm Worm. The party can ignore him or enter the fray to defeat the Goblins. If Findal's health is restored during combat, he will join the fight as an ally even if Sazza Sazza is in the party. He explains that he had been gathering herbs nearby when the Goblins captured him to interrogate about a weapon, of which he knows nothing about. If Findal survives the encounter with the Goblins, he will warn the party that the Underground Passage is trapped before departing for the Grove. This grants Inspiration Icon.pngTimely Rescue for Folk Heroes.

However, if Sazza is in the party, Findal realises that he stumbled upon a rescue attempt. The party can:

On failure, Findal becomes hostile and attacks. If Sazza is given to Findal, both of them enter combat with each other.

If Findal is rescued before confronting Kagha Kagha in Investigate Kagha Investigate Kagha, he will join the party in defeating the Shadow Druids.

If the Goblin Camp is dismantled before the party explore the Underground Passage, Findal's corpse can be found along the path, and the Key of the Ancients can be looted from him.

Companion approval[edit | edit source]

After the party rescue Findal, he expresses his gratitude, to which the party can ask questions or threaten him.
