Vampires are a type of non-playable Undead race in Baldur's Gate 3.

About Vampires[edit | edit source]

Vampires are one of the most feared and powerful undead. Vampires can turn other humanoids into Vampire Spawn by feeding on their blood, but in order to become a true Vampire, the spawn must feed on their master's blood in turn.

Notable Vampires[edit | edit source]

There is only one Vampire encountered in Baldur's Gate 3, all other vampires are Vampire Spawn.

Tactics[edit | edit source]

Vampires will regenerate health each turn with their Vampire Regeneration ability, and can also turn into a fog cloud which is resistant to damage. However, both of these abilities can be countered by exploiting their Sunlight Hypersensitivity, for instance; casting the level three evocation spell Daylight.
