Ellyka is a scout encountered to the west of Waukeen's Rest near the Mountain Pass entrance in Act One.

Involvement[edit | edit source]

Act One[edit | edit source]

At the entrance to the Mountain Pass, Ellyka warns the party about a group of githyanki on the road ahead. However, if the interacting party member appears to be a githyanki, Ellyka refers to them as 'flatface', and the party has a few unique dialogue responses. While speaking to Ellyka with a githyanki appearance, she attacks the party if selecting:

  • [GITHYANKI] They may be my kin. I will investigate.
  • [GITHYANKI] First and last warning - lower that weapon.

Ellyka can later be found dead in the cell room of Crèche Y'llek. Using Speak with Dead Speak with Dead on her corpse can reveal that she travelled to Rosymorn searching for The Blood of Lathander, but was captured and tortured by the githyanki for information on Moonrise. If Ellyka is killed at the Mountain Pass, it is not possible to interact with her via Speak with Dead Speak with Dead.

  • While in combat with Ellyka, it is still possible for a character to enter the trigger zone for the usual cutscene that occurs at the Mountain Pass area. This will abruptly end the combat encounter, and Ellyka will flee from the location, but remain marked as "hostile."[Needs Verification]
