Phostlethwaite is a guest of The Guild who can be found drinking with Tut Thistlebog in the Guildhall at X: -16 Y: 739.

Involvement

If succeeding passive DC 18 Insight check, or having Jaheira in the party, it is revealed that Phostlethwaite is not actually drunk but just pretending to in order to keep Tut out of trouble. If failing the check, it is neccessary to pass a DC 15 Constitution check to resist Tut's belching.

If all checks are passed, Tut reveals that the Minsc Stone Lord is going after The Counting House, which is a trap by Nine-Fingers Keene Nine-Fingers Keene to catch him.
