Clouds are a type of area. Clouds hang directly above the ground, as opposed to surfaces that coat the ground itself.

Properties

Clouds generally apply their effects when a character enters their zone of influence. Beyond this, most clouds are more specific and individualized in their effects. Some clouds apply an additional effect when beginning or ending a turn within the cloud; some clouds' effects only persist while within the cloud, while others apply conditions that persist after leaving.

Clouds can be removed by Gust of Wind Gust of Wind and Rush of the Gale Spirits Rush of the Gale Spirits.

Unlike surfaces, clouds are not dippable.
