The upstairs area is littered with {{SmRarityItem|Bedroll|Bedrolls}} and puddles of blood. Four [[Ghoul|Ghouls]] ([[Carpal]], [[Ligus]], [[Hamate]], and [[Rectus]]) and a [[Ghast]] ([[Thenar]]) can be found here. Their names, along with Ulnar) are references to bones in the body. If entrance is gained from this floor, Thenar will ask the party to leave. A {{SmRarityItem|Gold Pendant}} can be found on the table upstairs next to the staircase.  A {{SmRarityItem|Red Carmine Mask}} can be found on the other table. A [[Beggar's Portrait]] {{Coords|8|-155}} can be found in the room above the stairs by passing a DC 10 Perception Check. The portrait is trapped (warded with necrotic magic). Passing a DC 15 Arcana check will reward a quest-related letter called {{SmRarityItem|Thrumbo's Note}}. There is also a Wooden Chest tucked in the corner. It contains Gold, a random scroll (such as {{SmRarityItem|Scroll of Circle of Death}}), and a book titled {{SmRarityItem|Writin Exorcises}} penned by Thrumbo for his 'brothers' to practice the alphabet.
