If Shadowheart is in the party, she will comment on the grave of Allister Marnley, located next to the south entrance of the Graveyard with a 'Happy Birthday' note. It's also possible to plant a Night Orchid in front of the grave for a small additional comment.

Down the steps from the Mortuary is a grave with dirt pile that has a pipe sticking out of it (a Perception check will highlight it). If clicked on, a voice can be heard from the pipe. Digging up the grave exposes a coffin, and opening it releases Gothric Rillyn, who was apparently buried alive by The Stone Lord as punishment for theft.

The grave marked "M. Kurwin" has a dirt pile in front of it that can be dug up to reveal a Kobold named Bugthimble who aggressively claims the treasures hidden in the grave. The party can then either intimidate or fight Bugthimble and their kobold allies to take the treasure and Kurwin's Cauteriser for themselves. However passing a Deception check will instead result in Bugthimble fleeing with Kurwin's Cauteriser in hand. The talking party member may remark that the name "M. Kurwin" sounds familiar to them if they read the Tough Letter in Act 1.
