To the right is a locked door leading to a pit (after some jumping).  This door is initially locked, if entering through the main entrance.  The lever immediately in front of the door will open the door, but only after the lever in the Laboratory through the center door is used. You will find a locked chest on one of the 'islands' that has the [[Fleshmelter Cloak]]. This pit also has a pathway to the Ominous Crevice entrance. At the bottom of the pit you find some animated armour and some oozes. You can loot the [[Protective Plate]] off the animated armour.
