Justiciar Crusader (Archetype)

Justiciar Crusader is a generic title and archetype given to powerful warriors who serve Shar.

Involvement

Two Justiciar Crusaders can be found in the Cloister of Sombre Embrace. Despite the similar name, they have different statistics, passives, and abilities from the Undead Justiciar Crusader enemy found in the Gauntlet of Shar.

Combat

Justiciar Crusaders will use  Subsume Shadow to enter her  Umbral Form, empowering their attacks with an extra 1d8Necrotic and making them immune to non-magical damage. This lasts until death. Note that while the Umbral Form passive grants an extra attack, this does not stack with Owltalon's existing  Extra Attack.

 Main Hand Attack ()   –  Greatsword

Normal weapon damage

Make a melee attack with your equipped weapon.

 Melee: 1.5 m / 5  ft

 Life Drain ()

2d8 (2~16) + Dexterity modifier Necrotic

Possibly drain a target's hit points by 2d8. The target dies if its hit points are reduced to 0.

 Melee: 1.5 m / 5  ft

 Overwhelming Grief ()

1d8 (1~8) Necrotic

The Justiciar strikes at their foe's brain with pure malice, inflicting  Call of the Dark Lady

CON Save

 Range: 6 m / 18 ft

AoE: 3 m / 10 ft (Radius)

 Subsume Shadow ()

The Justiciar assumes their  Umbral Form.

 Range: 14 m /  ft
