• If talking to the duergar it is necessary to succeed a  Perception and  Deception or  Sleight of Hand check before this item can be looted. Alternatively, the the ring can be taken directly from one of the duergar corpses after killing them. It is also possible to offer to lend a hand and loot the deep gnomes before they get shoved off.
