Sacrificed Cultist (High Elf) is an unconscious high elf aboard the Nautiloid in the Prologue. He is psionically drained by a red glowing contraption.

Involvement[edit | edit source]

Prologue[edit | edit source]

The sacrificed high elf cultist can be found next to a sacrificed human. If the player character interacts with the sacrificed high elf, the narrator states: "Life flickers in his eyes, but he seems totally unaware of his surroundings."

If the player character is The Dark Urge, the narrator adds: "A fleeting image washes over you... An unwashed operating table... your innards without. The headache grows worse."

Nearby, a panel with 3 buttons can be pressed. Passing a DC 15 Arcana check reveals the sigil above each button. From left to right, the sigils are: Unleash, Aggression, and Annihilate. Unleash causes psionic energy to radiate from both the sacrificed high elf and human. Aggression causes the cultists to attack the party, initiating combat. Annihilate instantly kills them.
