Where to find

  • Inner Sanctum X: -461 Y: -22: Obtained as a reward, if the person who initiates dialogue is a Druid, for completing the quest Investigate Kagha and either persuading and sparing Kagha, or killing her.

Notes

  • Rath will give the party the staff if Kagha is killed. This must be completed before the quest Rescue the Druid Halsin.
  • Nothing [1] (including having this item equipped) prevents Jaheira Jaheira's vines from ensnaring the player character during a cutscene at the entrance to the Last Light Inn. However, having received the staff and been named Faithwarden does provide a unique dialogue option with her.

Gallery

  1. If in the cut-scene with Jaheira, the player character is ensnared in her vines as she interrogates them. This entanglement is plot-coded and unavoidable, regardless of any spell used or item equipped. While a player character (and the entire party) may avoid the cut-scene by, for example, sneaking into the Last Light Inn, its occupants become hostile if they are discovered and Jaheira was not first spoken with at the Inn's entrance.
