Topaz is a Bird in the Circle of the Emerald Grove in Act One.

Topaz is building a nest in the Sacred Pool near X: 228 Y: 493.

Interaction[edit | edit source]

The party can advise Topaz on the nest using Speak with Animals Speak with Animals:

  • It's slightly off - push it a bit to the right.
  • Stop fussing. It looks fine.
  • [DECEPTION] I'd leave it out - it's too dull. (DC 10)
  • [INTIMIDATION] Kick at the bird, trying to scare it away. (DC 5)Astarion approves +1
  • [BARBARIAN] [INTIMIDATION] Away from the coin, or I'll make a headpiece from your feathers. (DC 5)

If the party convinces Topaz to move one of the items or frightens Topaz away, all objects in the nest can be taken freely. Otherwise, taking the items is considered stealing.
