Unrelated topic, the section is to indicate the changes of certain ending. Besides, it was never revealed what the family did to Viconia and whether the conviction was fair. A similar example could be found in BG2: she killed a farmer family only because they raped and tried to murder her when she tried to show trust, which resulted in another conviction and lynch due to persecution and discrimination against Drow.

I fully agree, that's why the sentence is a simple and verifiable fact, which was established by Viconia herself in her dialogues. And a wiki shouldn't suffer from one's misunderstanding of a sentence and irrelevant interpretations based on it. Again, let's keep this discussion out of this thread, DM is welcomed.

→Changes to Viconia's backstory: A wiki is supposed to contain facts, not your personal interpretations made by omitting actual events from both games. That's all on the matter.
Once again, the trauma was not caused by her own actions, but by what Lolth did to her brother, you simply misunderstood the sentence. Viconia being traumatized by such experience is not only easily verifiable (one source of many: www.ironworksforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=7984 for her dialogue trees), but also an important part of her personal quest in Baldur's Gate 2, her morality is irrelevant on this matter. Please keep the conversation civilized, and DM if you want further discussion.

→Changes to Viconia's backstory: Once again, in none of the games is it stated she's traumatized. Please keep your headcanon out of the wiki. In Baldur's Gate 1 she is being pursued by the Flaming Fist for murdering a farmer, his wife, and their children, so apparently her morality stops at infanticide.

The "trauma" was referring to Viconia having nightmares about Lolth's actions, which did happen and was clearly established in Baldur's Gate 2. In addition, Viconia did show compassion for children in her dialogues in the previous game, such as: "That is your considered opinion, is it? You would prefer I lance the heart of a helpless child? You are more of a dolt than I thought, perhaps", "I had begun to question Lolth's appetite for power and absolute devotion with the child", etc.

Removed the passage. There is no source provided. I've taken a liberty of looking for any interview or post made by Larian confirming what was written, and found none. The author made it up.

Removed the entry about her previous actions causing her trauma. The only thing she refused to do was sacrificing an infant. In Baldur's Gate II, she doesn't protest against any evil actions, up to and including releasing Neb, a serial child killer.
