:In my playthough, I have both Minthara and Halsin at camp, and of the potential victims currently Gale has the highest approval, followed by Lae'zel, Halsin, and then Minthara. I was not in a romance with any of them, having explicitly turned down both Gale and Halsin. | |||

It is actually possible to avoid the kidnapping before confronting Orin, unless they've changed it. There are ground triggers for the kidnap event. The east one can simply be avoided. The north one can be avoided by having a character blink over it, then activate the waypoint behind it.
