(Created page with "== Orin Kidnapping Priority == Trying to figure out what triggers the kidnapping and I think it's correct to say that it's based on approval ratings. Reason being, I poked around in the game files and found this helpful note: "The first longrest in Lower City, Orin will abduct one of the players companion. (Lae’zel, Halsin, Gale or Minthara). Based on the players approval rating with them. (Friend, Good Friend and Romance) Highest approval will be the highest priority...") |

It is actually possible to avoid the kidnapping before confronting Orin, unless they've changed it. There are ground triggers for the kidnap event. The east one can simply be avoided. The north one can be avoided by having a character blink over it, then activate the waypoint behind it. The party can then use the waypoint as needed to access the north sewers / catacombs, bypassing the trigger. |
