Necrotic set

The Necrotic set is a set of equipment that helps the user deal or resist Damage TypesNecrotic damage. Synergizes with items from the Lightning set, which are not duplicated here. The set consists of the following pieces:

  • Bugged; the weapon action does not appear for the player.
Bloodletting Bloodletting ()

Pierce an enemy's flesh and possible make them Bleed Bleed. Some Undead and Constructs can't suffer Bleeding.


Assassin's Touch

Weapon (Dagger)
Deathly Slumber
Deals an additional 1d4Damage TypesNecrotic to creatures that are Knocked Out Knocked Out or Sleeping Sleeping.

Dread Iron Dagger

Weapon (Dagger)
Dread Iron Ambush
While its wielder is hidden, this weapon deals an extra 1d6Damage TypesNecrotic.

Ritual Dagger of Shar

Weapon (Dagger)
  • Deal an additional 1d4Damage TypesNecrotic damage.

Myrkulite Scourge

Weapon (Flail)
  • Deal an additional 1d6Damage TypesNecrotic damage.

Sword of Chaos

Weapon (Greatsword)
  • Deal an additional 1d4Damage TypesNecrotic damage.
Chaos
On a hit, regain 1d6hit points.

Blackguard's Sword

Weapon (Longsword)
  • Deal an additional 1d4Damage TypesNecrotic damage.
Dazing Smite
On a hit infused with one of your Smites, the target must succeed a Constitution saving throw or become Dazed Dazed.

Bonesaw (+1)

Weapon (Longsword)
  • Bugged; the weapon action does not appear for the player.
Incise Ligaments Incise Ligaments ()

Grind your saw's blackest teeth into an enemy's calves and possibly Slow Slow them.


Loviatar's Scourge

Weapon (Mace)
Willing Whip
Grants Resistance to Damage TypesNecrotic, and deals additional 1d6Damage TypesNecrotic damage to everyone nearby including the wielder.

Creation's Echo

Weapon (Quarterstaff)
Elemental Resonance
If the wielder deals Damage TypesAcid, Damage TypesFire, Damage TypesLightning, Damage TypesRadiant, or Damage TypesNecrotic damage, it become resistant to that damage type for 2 turns.

Hollow's Staff

Weapon (Quarterstaff)
  • Deal an additional 1d4Damage TypesNecrotic damage.
Heightened Necromancy
Creatures have Disadvantage Icon.png Disadvantage on Saving throws against your necromancy spells.
Arms of Hadar Arms of Hadar ()
Cast as a level 3 spell ( Recharge: Long rest.)

Life Essence Harvest
When the wielder kills a hostile creature with a spell, they greedily absorb its energy and gain Life Essence Life Essence until their next Long Rest.

Duellist's Prerogative

Weapon (Rapier)
  • Deal an additional 1d4Damage TypesNecrotic damage
Elegant Duellist
While your off-hand is empty, you score a Critical Hit when rolling a 19. Moreover, you gain an additional Reaction per turn.
Withering Cut
On a hit with a melee weapon, use a Reaction to deal additional Damage TypesNecrotic damage equal to your Proficiency Bonus.
Challenge to Duel Challenge to Duel ()

Challenge an enemy to attack only you, inflicting Bleeding Bleeding on the target.

Dueller's Enthusiasm Dueller's Enthusiasm ()

While you are not dual-wielding and your off hand is empty, you can make an additional melee attack with The Dueller.


Makeshift Bow

Ambusher

In combat, you deal an additional 1d6Damage TypesNecrotic damage against creatures that haven't taken a turn yet.

Crimson Mischief

Prey Upon the Weak
This weapon deals an additional 1d4Damage TypesPiercing damage against targets with 50% of their hit points or fewer.

Main Hand Only

Redvein Savagery
When you make an attack with Advantage Icon.png Advantage, the target takes an additional 7Damage TypesPiercingDRS damage.

Off-Hand Only

Crimson Weapon
When you make an attack with your off-hand weapon, you can add your Ability Modifier to the damage of the attack.

Fleshrender

Weapon (Shortsword)
Part the Flesh Part the Flesh ()

Thrust forward with diabolical precision, possibly stymying your target's ability to heal.


Sword of Life Stealing

On a Critical Hit, the target takes an extra 10Damage TypesNecroticDRS damage as long as it isn't a construct or an undead. You also gain HP Icon.png 10 temporary hit points.

  • Bugged; the weapon action does not appear for the player.
Trephination Trephination ()

Make a burr hole into an enemy's skull and possibly knock them Prone Prone.

Revitalising Strike Revitalising Strike ()

Smash into a foe, wounding them and healing your own injuries.


Horns of the Berserker

You gain a +2 bonus to Attack rolls when attacking creatures that have already taken damage.
Blood Thirst
Unarmed and melee attacks will deal an extra 2Damage TypesNecrotic damage as long as you don't have your full health. If you don't deal any damage this turn, you will take 1d4Damage TypesNecrotic damage at the end of your turn.
