Menzoberranzan is a mentioned-only location in Baldur's Gate 3. Located in the Underdark, it is the primary city of the in Faerun and controlled by it's Lolth-Sworn faction. The city is known for its complex and brutal political intrigues.

Menzoberranzan is mentioned several times throughout the game:
- Many Drow encountered throughout the game have once called Menzoberranzan home:
- Minthara, a member of the ruling House Baenre, was born and raised in the city
- Viconia DeVir, a member of House DeVir, was once a priestess of Lolth in the city before embracing Shar
- Araj Oblodra, the self-proclaimed "last member of House Oblodra", was likely born and/or raised in the city before her house's destruction
- Several items reference Menzoberranzan in their descriptions:
- Shadow of Menzoberranzan
- Amulet of Misty Step ("made of blue gems unique to a privately-owned mine in Menzoberranzan")
- Other:
- A portal to the city can be found in the House of Hope, alongside portals to cities like Waterdeep and Baldur's Gate
- As a young , Halsin was captured and kept in captivity by a Drow family for several years before escaping
- Sorn Orlith, a Drow sex worker at Sharess' Caress, has a special move he calls his "Menzoberranzan Love Trick" (which just seems to be him casting on himself)
