Each framed facet of the lantern glass is pierced by lances and long tendrils of eerily beautiful moonlight.

Notes
- The Moonlantern carried by Kar'niss contains a foul-mouthed pixie named Dolly Dolly Dolly who wants out. If you free her, she'll grant you a .
- If the player is escorted to Moonrise Towers by Kar'niss, Dolly Dolly Dolly will be dead inside the lantern.
- If the player instead kills Kar'niss and follows the Harpers back to Last Light Inn, Isobel will give you the same Moonlantern with Dolly Dolly Dolly alive inside. Equip and inspect the Moonlantern to free her she'll grant you the .
- Switching to ranged weapons while having a Moonlantern equipped retains the Moonshield effect but removes the illumination, allowing darkness-requiring effects such as Covert Critical and Shadow Step to be safely used within the Shadow-Cursed Lands.
