Gloves of The Duellist are a rare pair of Gloves that enhance melee weapon Attack rolls when the wearer only holds one weapon in the main hand.

Ways of beginning a duel have varied over the years. Perhaps the most famous is the Bildumbacher Method, in which the instigator drips paint thinner onto the opponent's socks.

Notes

• The description of effect is misleading. Like the Defensive Duelist feat, the bonus from these gloves is active even if you have a shield in your offhand, as long as you do not have a weapon in your offhand. It is also deactivated if using a versatile weapon alone (in 2-hand mode), but is active if wielding a versatile weapon alongside a shield.
