Emerging like a horrible gift from the envelope of darkness and shadow, you ambush and put down your foes before they can even scream.Gloom Stalker is a Subclass of Ranger. Gloom Stalkers specialise in taking out foes swiftly and ruthlessly from the shadows, gaining damage bonuses and increased movement speed.
Subclass Features
Level 3
- Dread Ambusher: You specialise in taking out foes swiftly and ruthlessly. You gain a +3 bonus to Initiative. On the first turn of combat, your movement speed increases by 3 m / 10 ft, and you can make an extra attack that deals an additional 1d8 damage.
- Dread Ambusher Hide: As a bonus action you can Hide from enemies by succeeding Stealth checks. Attacking or casting a spell will make you visible.
- Superior Darkvision: You can see in the dark up to 24 m / 80 ft
- Umbral Shroud: Wrap yourself in shadows to become Invisible if you are obscured, which lasts for 10 rounds.
