Eight is a goblin child located on the eastern most side of the Goblin Camp along the cliff where Rancer Brawler Rancer is stationed. Eight wears a leather helmet and is standing over the corpse of a dead adventurer who killed his parents, along with two other goblin children.

Involvement[edit | edit source]

Act One[edit | edit source]

Eight vents his anger on the dead adventurer who killed his parents. He invites Four Four and Five Five to join in kicking the body. Despite complaining about being an orphan, Eight has little care for his dead parents, who he views as weak for dying and even wanting to kill them himself one day.

If the party try to loot the body, Eight confronts the party, claiming the corpse is his. The party can tell him off by passing an ability check:

  • [DROW] Nothing is yours. Find another corpse.
  • [ILLITHID] [WISDOM] I'll do what I want - and you will find another corpse.
  • [DECEPTION] Boss' orders. I'm collecting his loot. (DC 15)
  • [INTIMIDATION] Or what? I'll run you through before you can cry for your mother. (DC 10)
  • [BERSERKER] [INTIMIDATION] ROAR. (DC 10 Advantage Icon.png)
  • [BARBARIAN] [INTIMIDATION] Try and stop me. (DC 10 Advantage Icon.png)
  • [DETECT THOUGHTS] [WISDOM] Read the child's mind.
    • You're wasting your time with this one. There are corpses outside with far more loot.

If a fight breaks out by threatening Four, he quickly surrenders if one of the other kids is killed.
