Halfar is a Flaming Fist mercenary and cleric of Ilmater that can be found slain on the footsteps leading into High Hall. Killed by Absolutist forces, Halfar is one of two corpses in the area that can be spoken to, the other one being Lewis Morell.

Involvement

At some before the party's arrival, Halfar made his way from the Flaming Fist reserve to High Hall in an attempt to rescue potential survivors fleeing from the Absolutist forces. From there, he witnessed the Netherbrain rise into the sky, and found High Hall's courtyard to be swarming with Absolutist cultists coming from the mountainside.

Halfar was then killed by a Mind Flayer before he could get through the gate, dying in front of the courtyard (X: 253 Y: 72).
