Kushigo is a set of equipment. Kushigo equipment generally boosts unarmed and unarmoured characters.

While Patient Defence Patient Defence is active: the wearer can use their reaction to make an unarmed strike against any attacker that misses.

The wearer deals additional damage equal to their Wisdom icon.png Wisdom Modifier with unarmed strikes.

Gloves of Uninhibited Kushigo

The wearer deals an additional D4 Physical.png 1d4 damage with Throw Throw Attacks and attacks made with Improvised Weapons Improvised Weapons.

Hat of Uninhibited Kushigo

Lay Bare Their Weakness
After dealing damage with an unarmed attack, the wearer gains a +1 bonus to their spell save DC until the end of their turn.

The equipment set is named after Kushigo, a legendary monk as described in the text of Garb of the Land and Sky:

Long ago, Kushigo was a warrior. Bedecked in an enormous set of plate steel, its shoulder pauldrons fashioned like great antlered stags, his arrival on a battlefield spelled doom for the enemy.

Yet this armour - so light and fine - speaks nothing to the legacy.
