Notes[edit | edit source]

  • His first name derives from Latin "scelus", meaning "evil deed, wickedness"
  • Sceleritas usually cannot be fought in combat. If the party progresses past the point of no return in Act Two without satisfying The Urge, Sceleritas will wait in ambush outside Moonrise Towers to force the issue. If the party approaches stealthily with an ability to see Invisible creatures, it is possible to attack and kill Sceleritas in a single turn. However, he still turns up at the next Long Rest, unscathed and without mention of the incident.
  • If the player character wears Sclereritas' hat when arriving at the temple in act 3, he will mention this in dialogue, requesting the player character removes it for combat with a certain someone, in order to not appear as a "lowly servant".
  • According to Sceleritas, the worst thing the Dark Urge did in the past was give some coin to a beggar while heading to the Devil's Fee out of kindness. This act of kindness still gives Sceleritas nightmares.
