Frost of Dark Winter is a level 4 evocation spell. It is a variant of Kereska's Favour that allows its caster to imbue themselves with the power of ice and unlock resistances and spells associated with it. It is granted by Markoheshkir.

Description

Embrace Kereska's ice to gain resistance to Damage TypesCold damage. Your cold spells deal additional Damage TypesCold damage equal to your proficiency bonus.

When you deal spell damage, inflict 2 turns[See Notes] of Frost Frost upon the target. While attuned to Kereska's ice you can cast Cone of Cold Cone of Cold and Ice Storm Ice Storm each once each per short rest.

  • The in-game tooltip says this effect inflicts 1 turn of Encrusted with Frost, but it actually inflicts 2 turns.
  • Applying Encrusted with Frost can only occur once per attack. A spell hitting multiple targets like Cone of Cold Cone of Cold will only apply the condition to a single target.
