- Normally, stealing the idol will cause the druids to immediately become hostile and attack both the party and the Tieflings in the Grove. However, if stolen after the ritual has been stopped (either by completing Investigate Kagha or by saving the Grove from the goblins), the druids will not automatically become hostile as long as the theif is not caught in the act. Shortly after stealing the idol one of the druids will interrogate nearby party members. Passing a Deception or Intimidation check will let the party get away.
- Alternatively, if the robber casts or on themselves and other party members are nowhere near, the druids will not be able to interrogate anyone and the investigation ends shortly after.
