Gomwick can be found dead in the Forest, his corpse protected by his dog Scratch Scratch in Act One.

Involvement

Act One

Using Speak with Dead Speak with Dead can reveal that he was a courier delivering letters to Baldur's Gate. Until Scratch Scratch has calmed down, the dog will not allow Gomwick's body to be looted.
