Daylight is a level 3 evocation spell. This spell allows spellcasters to dispel darkness by summoning a sphere of light or enchanting an item to shine like the sun.
Description
Enchant an item to shine like the sun or summon a sphere of sunlight that dispels all darkness around it.

- Range: 18 m / 60 ft
At higher levels
Casting this spell at a higher level grants no additional benefit.
Variants
Condition: Daylight
Duration: Until Long rest
- Shining with the light of the sun. Dispels Darkness within a radius of 15 m / 50 ft.
- The Enchant Item version of this spell requires the target creature have a Weapon in their main hand.
How to learn
Classes:
- Class Level 5: Cleric, Druid, Sorcerer, Light Domain (Domain Spell), and Circle of the Land (Grassland)
- Class Level 6: College of Lore (via Magical Secrets)
- Class Level 10: Bard (via Magical Secrets)
Notes
- Exposing Duergar, Drow and other NPCs to either variant of this spell will not trigger Sunlight Sensitivity they typically have in outdoor daylight, nor will it cause Sussur Blooms to wither while in the Underdark.
