Rewards

  • Succeeding the Religion Ability Check when reading the book will give you a Ray of Enfeeblement Scroll.
  • If the player has the Sage background or Gale is in the party and succeeds the Religion check they will be become inspired and receive Secrets of the Sundering (1 Inspiration, XP based on character level).
  • If the player has the Acolyte background or Shadowheart is in the party and succeeds the Religion check they will be become inspired and receive Divinity Undone (1 Inspiration, XP based on character level).

Trivia

  • There are several different Ability Checks the player can choose to open the book. Barbarians, Paladins, Warlocks and Wizards have special options.
  • The three names mentioned in the Investigation check are a reference to the Dead Three.
