Nymessa, about Lae'zel

Involvement[edit | edit source]

Act One[edit | edit source]

Nymessa and Damays disagree on their next steps for Lae'zel Lae'zel, who is trapped in an elevated cage. Nymessa argues that it is safer to leave "it" in the cage, but Damays argues that Lae'zel should be brought to Zevlor Zevlor in the Emerald Grove. If approaching, Lae'zel telepathically demands the party to free her, initiating Free Lae'zel Free Lae'zel.

The party can convince the tieflings to leave the area or offer to help kill Lae'zel. If Nymessa and Damays are not dispatched through intimidation, the party can ask about nearby healers. They suggest seeking out Nettie Nettie, which advances Find a Cure Find a Cure and Get Help from Healer Nettie Get Help from Healer Nettie.

Idle banter[edit | edit source]

Nymessa: You think it's dangerous?

  • Damays: Of course it's dangerous. One of them carved up Zorru's whole squad.
    • Nymessa: So let's leave it.
      • Damays: And let the goblins have it? No. We take it to the grove.

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • Despite being a tiefling, Nymessa does not have Darkvision. This may be a bug.
  • If the player selected Lae'zel as their Origin, Nymessa and Damays are already dead when the player character arrives at their location.
