Piercing Growl is a special Class Action available to the Slayer. The Slayer howls so hard that nearby foes are wounded.

Description

Fierce howls rise from your guts and wound nearby foes, possibly inflicting Bleeding Bleeding and Fear Fear.

  • Has Disadvantage Icon.png Disadvantage on Ability Checks and Attack rolls.
  • It must run from the source of its fear and cannot take any additional actions.
  • Targets can make a Saving throw to shake off this effect if they end their turn out of sight from their source of fear.

  • The Difficulty Class (DC) of the Slayer's Let the Slaughter Begin Let the Slaughter Begin, Piercing Growl Piercing Growl, Relentless Lunge Relentless Lunge, Slay Slay, and Sumptuous Blood Bath Sumptuous Blood Bath uses the Spellcasting ability of the last class you took a first level in, but at the Slayer's new stats. This makes it incredibly hard to successfully use their effects, as Fighters, Rogues, and Wizards, Clerics, Druids, Monks, and Rangers will receive a +0 roll bonus from Intelligence/Wisdom, while Barbarians, Bards, Paladins, Sorcerers, and Warlocks will receive a -1 roll bonus from Charisma.
