Dolor Amarus image

Dolor Amarus is a rare +2 dagger that deals 7 additional damage on a critical hit.

Description Icon.png

Once wielded by a murderer, the weapon's handle retains an eerie, clammy warmth, as if Dolor's pre-slaughter sweat somehow crept into the leather - and lingers there still.

Where to find

Notes

  • If Dolor is not killed at Highberry's Home, he can later be found at the Facemaker's Boutique.
  • The player character can only get Dolor Amarus from the Echo of Abazigal, they accept Bhaal and become an Unholy Assassin.
  • The name of the passive feature, Dolor Amarus, is Latin for "Harsh suffering" or "Bitter sorrow".
  • The Dolor Amarus passive feature applies to all weapon attacks while this shortbow is equipped and it is able to stack with other sources of itself. Meaning that if either this dagger or the Vicious Battleaxe is equipped together with the Vicious Shortbow and either lands a critical hit, then +14 damage will be dealt instead of +7.
