Grease is a level 1 conjuration spell. It allows spellcasters to conjure flammable grease on the ground within range and turn it into Difficult Terrain.
Description
Cover the ground in flammable grease. It becomes Difficult Terrain and creatures within can fall .
Properties
At higher levels
Casting this spell at a higher level grants no additional benefit.

Difficult terrain - movement speed is halved and creatures may fall Prone. Flammable.
- Type: Surface
Condition: Prone
- Can't move or take Actions, Bonus actions, or Reactions, and has Disadvantage on Strength and Dexterity saving throws.
- Attacks against a Prone creature have Advantage if they're made within 3 m / 10 ft of the creature.
- A Prone creature must spend half its Movement Speed to stand up.
- A character with the Athlete feat spends only 1.5 m / 5 ft of Movement Speed to stand up.

The incantation for Grease is Voco Arvina, Latin for "I call/summon grease".
