Notes

  • The target must fail four Saving throws in total in order to turn to stone. Each turn the target fails a saving throw, it will progress to a new stage of the Flesh to Stone debuff, all of which are identical in effect to Restrained Restrained:
  • This spell can be cast on a creature without provoking hostilities during the four petrification saving throws. Once the creature has turned to stone or succeeded a saving throw, however, its nearby allies will turn hostile and/or a guard response will be provoked.
  • Despite the description stating the effect is 'temporary,' petrification from this spell is indeed permanent until the target is cured by Basilisk Oil or a spell such as Greater Restoration Greater Restoration.
