Tomboldt the Pallid is a Lolth-Sworn Drow that can be met in the Felogyr's Fireworks workshop in the Lower City of the Baldur's Gate, in Act Three of the game, while following through the quest Investigate the Suspicious Toys.

Involvement

Ico knownSpells lvl 03.png Act 3 Spoilers! This section reveals details about the story of Baldur's Gate 3.

Tomboldt the Pallid can be found on the third floor of the Felogyr's Fireworks. He is obviously the head of explosives' production that runs behind the veneer of the pyrotechnics shop.

Tomboldt conducts his part of operations in a small room separated from the main laboratory by an open doorway. He is guarded (or, maybe, watched?) personally by Black Gauntlet Uva.

On Tomboldt's desk the player can find several documents: Ledger of Production: Explosives and Ledger of Production: Motivators. Also, in Tomboldt's pockets the party can find a note titled Installation Report. Apparently, these documents are the first references to Motivators and the Iron Throne in the main plot of the game.

As the Investigate the Suspicious Toys quest cannot be ultimately resolved in a peaceful way, Tomboldt the Pallid will join the fight as soon as she notices any ill commotion, siding with other followers of Bane, and attack the party along with other Felogyr's employees.
