Frost Salamander Tongue

Frost Salamander Tongue is an Alchemical Ingredient. Combine 3 of these to create a Suspension of Frost Salamander Tongue, which is used to make Oil of Freezing.

Thanks to their mindless appetite for heat, frost salamanders are often tricked by bronze-forged azers. The azers set a campfire blazing, and the salamanders slither toward it hungrily, only to be ripped apart for their alchemically valuable tongues.

Where to find

Brewer's Alchemist stash. Exact location can be found in The Waning Moon from notes. Dug up from under a dirt mound in a patch underneath a house between House of Healing and road to Baldur's Gate entrance to the south. Another tongue can be found in the "Offering to Mystra" box in the Stormshore Tabernacle - Basement. Can also be purchased from Helsik at The Devil's Fee.
