Soul-Sworn Contract

The Soul-Sworn Contract is created when the player accepts Raphael's deal in Sharess' Caress. Raphael gives the player the Orphic Hammer, which is needed to free Orpheus, and in exchange the player will deliver the Crown of Karsus to Raphael after having defeated the Netherbrain.

Should the player want to renege on their word, they must find a way to enter Raphael's abode, the House of Hope and destroy the contract. The contract is located in the Archive room of the House but is protected by a forcefield which requires a password to disable. This password can be found in the Boudoir of the House and can be acquired in various ways, such as subterfuge, combat, or sleeping with Haarlep.
