Francis can be found in the Nautiloid Wreck in Act One.

Francis' corpse is strewn among the debris in the Nautiloid Wreck at X: 230 Y: 271. The party can interact with Francis via Speak with Dead Speak with Dead, which reveals that he was one of the abductees aboard the Nautiloid.

Party member: Who are you?

  • Abducted Nobleman: Francis... merchant... selling pottery...

Party member: How did you die?

  • Abducted Nobleman: Fire... screaming... then crunch. Nothing...

Party member: What happened to you?

  • Abducted Nobleman: Guiding my cart... shadow fell... tentacle grabbed me...
  • Abducted Nobleman: Took me here... put something in my eye...
    • Party member: Do you know why any of us were taken?
      • Abducted Nobleman: No... took everyone... peasants... lords... took them all...
    • Party member: They put something in my eye too. Can we get rid of it? (Only after asking "What happened to you?")
      • Abducted Nobleman: Find healer...
      • Abducted Nobleman: ...or die... it'll leave...

Party member: Do you have anything valuable?

  • Abducted Nobleman: They took me... took everything...
