Undercity Ruins is a location accessible from the Lower City Sewers area of Baldur's Gate during Act Three.

While inside the Lower City Sewers, the minimap name will become "Undercity Ruins" by walking north through a stone archway at roughly X: -138 Y: 907. Near the waypoint also named Undercity Ruins, there is a door that is initially locked and requires special means to open.

The information in this article discusses the content found beyond this special door.

Locations

  • While inside the Lower City Sewers, the minimap name will become "Undercity Ruins" by walking north through a stone archway at roughly X: -138 Y: 907.
  • Door to this Area: X: -133 Y: 934 after the minimap name has become "Undercity Ruins."
  • Combat Encounter with Farslayer of Bhaal Ghislev (title of "Death's Gatekeeper") and additional entities, triggered as you descend the stairs, roughly around X: -115 Y: 958. Verified to trigger if you are hostile to the followers of Bhaal, but other reasons may exist.
  • Metal Door leading from the "gate" towards the temple proper X: -99 Y: 1021
  • Stone Archway leading away from the temple X: -67 Y: 1126
  • Arrangement of Bodies X: -62 Y: 1042
  • Skiff X: -87 Y: 1156 by the Morphic Pool Dock waypoint

Temple of Bhaal

Travelling east on the bridge adjacent to the "Temple of Bhaal" waypoint, the area becomes fast-travel restricted after X: -41 Y: 1006, but the minimap name will still read "Undercity Ruins." A pair of "Solid Doors", initially locked by special means, is found at the end of the bridge.

The minimap name becomes Bhaal Temple after crossing the threshold of these doors.
