• Against  Threatened targets, deal bonus damage equal to your Proficiency Bonus.
• While you are affected by Arcane Charge, you suffer a 50% movement speed penalty.

Notes

• The in-game description of Arcane Charge does not match the actual effect. The in-game tool-tip describes Arcane Charge as:

  While Threatened, affected entity has a +1 bonus to damage with spells.

• The damage bonus applies to any instance of damage you deal to a  Threatened target, including weapon damage, spell damage, damage over time effects like Burning or Bleeding, and even self-damage.
• If a single attack does multiple independent instances of damage, Arcane Charge will boost each one, so spells like  Magic Missile will benefit the most.
• Some damage riders behave as independent sources of damage and will get boosted by Arcane Charge. See DRS effects for a comprehensive list of damage riders that work like this. For instance, Arcane Charge will boost both the weapon damage and  Colossus Slayer damage of a single attack.
• The movement speed penalty from Arcane Charge can be mitigated by  Freedom of Movement, but not any effects that only mitigate Difficult Terrain like File:Land's Stride Icon.webp Land's Stride.
