The Mirror of Loss is a large mirror found in the House of Grief that allows you to gain +2 to a stat at the cost of being cursed.

When you first investigate it you can pass an Arcana (DC 25) check to have the opportunity to offer a piece of memory and a Religion (DC 25) check.

If you pass both checks then you can trade 2 points in an attribute of your choice for 2 points in another attribute of your choice.

If you have read the Necromancy of Thay and acquired the Forbidden Knowledge condition you can also trade this instead of one of your attributes.

Once you have passed the Arcana AND Religion Checks (*cough* Save Scum *cough cough*) you can offer a memory to the Mirror of Loss to be temporarily cursed and two gain +2 in an attribute of your choice.

Any attributes you lose can be cured by the Remove Curse spell.
